I started this shawl and ripped it out several times. I finally was able to get the squares lined up. The yarn is dyed so it forms squares and you have to have your gauge just right for the squares to fall in place. You'll notice on my sample there are strands hanging where the new square patterns begin. You leave half of the yarn color from your last square pattern and half of the yarn color from your new square pattern hanging. This is how you change patters. This will get woven in later.

This shawl takes 7 skeins 170 yds. The color is Sage.
